In early August 2016, Fulldome.pro returned to the Los Angeles Convention Center for Virtual Reality LA, the world’s largest virtual and augmented reality expo with over 6,000 consumers and industry professionals in attendance.
With the support of HP & Radeon Technologies Group, we were able to install three domes to showcase a range of immersive experience. The 12 meter (40 foot) dome was dedicated to showing Samskara 2.0 from Android Jones and 360ART, the 5 meter (16 foot) dome was where Android Jones presented Microdose VR, his virtual painting software for the HTC Vive and the 3 meter (10 foot) open dome played VR content from 360ART, Likuid Art and BlackBoxTV Studio. Visitors also had a chance to interact with Samskara in a VR game version for the HTC Vive.
At peak times visitors had to wait over an hour to access the domes – and it was well worth the wait!
