At this year’s SXSW, we had the incredible opportunity to host “Resolution: A Cinephonic Rhapsody for the Soul”, a 360 experience that won the SXSW XR Spotlight Audience Award.
The film, based on The Polyphonic Spree’s album “Salvage Enterprise,” provides a rare opportunity to listen to an entire album without interruptions, just as it was intended. As the audience reclined under the immersive visuals of the dome, they embarked on an extraordinary journey through a series of vibrant, shifting worlds, with each song unveiling a new dimension in this otherworldly experience.
The immersive film experience was presented in Fulldome.pro’s 8-meter projection dome at the Fairmont Hotel as part of the XR exhibit at SXSW 2025.
"We partnered with Fulldome.pro, and they came in and constructed a dome for our film," Tim DeLaughter, frontman of The Polyphonic Spree, shares. "It was the first dome in the XR experience at South by Southwest. I walked up and saw the dome and was like, "Wow, I can't believe they made this happen."

"It's about allowing people the space and time to relax and take in an album," he explains. "There's a sense of overcoming and victory by the end, and people leave feeling reinvigorated and hopeful."
