The Sziget festival experience
Sziget is an incredible festival that takes place in Budapest, Hungary. It’s a music, culture and arts festival, and it’s known as the ‘Island of Freedom’ to fans of the event. This festival has grown immensely over the years and has been host to some fantastic performers.
Famous singers such as Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran have performed here, as have iconic bands like Motorhead, Blink-182, and Judas Priest. It’s been described as the European equivalent of Woodstock and has won awards for being one of the best festivals in Europe.
What we did at the festival this year
This year at Sziget, we were thrilled to be able to showcase one of our event domes. The specific dome that we used is 16-meters in size, inflatable, and has a semi-transparent cover. It can fit up to 100 people, and it’s incredibly portable and easy to install at events.
The semi-transparent cover was a particular hit at the festival, as it took the dome from a simple projection dome to a full-blown art piece. We wanted to match the beautiful, creative vibe of the festival and use our product to enhance this gorgeous space.
Over 10,000 guests visited our dome during the festival, which was great to see. We were pleased to showcase a number of intriguing films for our audience. One of the most popular movies that we showed at the festival was our famous Samskara, which keeps fascinating the visitors.
